Thank you Jennifer! I bought a small set of nice, smooth synthetic brushes to start. Then when I watched the acrylic techniques video and saw a few of the brushes you used there, I immediately got some natural brushes to use for texture!

Thanks for this video . I mainly do paint pouring but really want to try my hand at some beginner abstract painting so this was very informative in helping me choose the right brushes. I'm not really interested in learning landscapes or that type of abstract . I have been watching a lot of Oliver Maass and Elsa WeiB and that type of abstract appeals to me the most . I know it looks A LOT easier than it is. Lol. So I just keep watching and paying close attention. But if you are into any kind of abstract like that I would love to see any videos you might have or if you have any suggestions or tips that would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for sharing this video. Also if you dont mind me asking what is the best type of brush for blending paints on the canvas with little to no stroke marks when dry. ?? I watched a How to Blend video by Rinske Douna and it looked like she was mainly using larger Filbert brushes, I inquired about the brush type & sizes but have never received a reply and of course with everything going on its not possible to speak with any art store personnel for suggestions. Again thank you for sharing this information.
