Pokemon Voice Compare - Blaine

Editor’s opinion:

Both actors do a good job at portraying the intelligent, prideful hot head that is Blaine. Even if Mike Pollock is my choice to play the character. In the end though, my pick of the two is Michael Haigney.
While his rough voice can get a little grating sometimes, he conveys a underlying serious quality that I imagine Blaine from the games and especially the manga having. Kirk Thornton, while easier to listen to, leans a little too far towards a loon rather than an eccentric, yet respectable gym leader. As it stands, Haigney wins this.
