Can Chiasmus Survive Translation? (Knowhy #343)

Recognizing that chiasmus and other literary features can and often do survive translation, and better understanding the circumstances in which this happens offers some insight into the translation process.

The Book of Mormon was translated by the power of God, and through His divinity, all is possible.

So cool! Heavenly Father's hand in this. In Hebrew the people valued parallelism and structure which more easily translates to other languages. In English we highly value rhythm, rhyming, sound which doesn't translate.
