Let’s not forget that James McMurdock, a Reform UK Member of Parliament for South Basildon and East Thurrock, was convicted of assaulting his then-girlfriend outside a nightclub in Chelmsford. He pleaded guilty to assault by beating and was sentenced to 21 days in a young offenders' institution for kicking the victim multiple times.
