Tundra owner here. If I am Timing The next light to turn green by the time I hit 45 mph where I cross the line by the time it changes to green I’m probably driving reckless everywhere that day and getting 9mpg.

If I’m on the highway I’m lucky to have 16 but I can ease into 18.

On average in the city I get 13 cause I used to drive a manual so my instinct is to be super laid back and roll up to red lights.

I have 32, 062 miles now on my Rivian R1S. It costs me $0.03/mile to fuel that puppy up with electrons. I plan to continue to pile on the miles exploring this great country of ours (and mountain biking wherever I can). I do love the 4 Runner, but if I went gas I’d probably buy a Land Cruiser, which would be even worse mpg.

Sounds about right, i just bought one brand new 2024 and my 2007 dodge Ram mega cab Cummins beats it, my Porsche 911 race car gets even better mileage than the 4Runner, my can am sxs whips it’s ass, but I am still glad I got it, just wait till it’s finished Magnuson supercharger next week install, old man emu heavy duty springs and that’s about it no lift, as of yet, for off road use I have a sxs and a built Jeep rubicon tj, so this 4 runner Trd pro will probably never see a hard core off road trail.
