The only time I used a DAC was many years ago, trying to put my cd's onto a laptop in flac format (gave up). I had a decent hifi but didn't have the money spare to buy a £500 separate dac. I see one at at Maplins for an amazing £40, perfect specs, gave it a try. Ohhhh my god it sounded horrible, not even usable, all distortion. Did a bit of research, found this guy in Canada hand-making them with top parts for £70. It was a tiny box when it arrived but sounded like bliss, sweet and dynamic.

Hey Man good revise, i actually have the ifi nano idsd black label so do you think these ione is better? And how you can use it with Bluetooth with your Android phone and pair with an amp?thanks a lot!!!

2 Years Audio Experience? ive been in this game for much longer and cannot hear the difference between DACs and Amps. :(
