Project aims and alignment with priority area:
This year project supported the establishment of the New Media Minor “Mobile Social Media” (12 weeks) in semester two 2014 via a short version (6 weeks). The project also built upon the partnership begun with Salford University (UK) in 2013 and ran the second iteration of the MARMW (Mobile Augmented Reality Movie Workshop) and provided a transformative experience for participants. MARMW2014 was hosted by Colab in association with both the annual MINA 2014 Symposium and Ascilite 2014 Conference.

ii. Developing problem solving, critical thinking, and collaboration
iii. Enhancing students’ international and intercultural competencies
iv. Strengthening engagement with learning and maintaining high levels of satisfaction
v. Involvement of alumni, communities, business and the professions in the curriculum
vi. Promoting creativity, co-creation, curiosity and analytical abilities
vii. Development of digital learning resources to foster the student experience
viii. Uses of social and digital media to enhance specific learning outcomes
