My flowerhorn is in community tank and it has the Fin rot. Can I use melafix in the tank to cure fin rot or else do I need to Quarantine fish in a seperate tank to use melafix. I also have activated carbon. Do I need to remove that before using melafix?

I just put my smaller goldfish in with my big goldfish and he seemed to be really scared of them at first. They're ignoring him and being very peaceful and he seems to have calmed down, but it looks like he ripper just about all his fins when he was in a panic. It's literally been like 3 hours and everyone seems socially ok, but now I have an injured fish. I decided (for now) to keep him in with the other 2 goldfish and heal him in there with the melafix. I hope he heals up ok :/

This medicine is really great! You can also make your own medicinal food with the fungal treatment so that it can also treat internal fungus or diseases inside out :-)!
