I never doubted the DOJ and Merritt Garland doing their jobs. I’m glad that it has gone slowly, more slowly than others would like. But I understand the necessity and seriousness of the probes to be as thorough as humanly possible because I don’t want to see a rush job that may have loopholes for T**** and his cronies to slip through. This has now become a time for extra vigilance and not a time for complacency. We can’t let our guard down until we’re well past the finish line and even then we must keep aware of the danger that will still exist to our Democracy. These extremists militias and fanatical Evangelical Taliban sects will still be out there only now they may slip back under the water, so to speak, and not be in our view as they were before T**** was elected in 2016. Our Democracy is very precious and should never be taken for granted as the assault on our freedoms still exists with a far right SCOTUS ready to erode more under the guise of a false belief that this is how Christianity should function as an integral part of the government, not separate from the government. The Republicans will weaponize every word they can corrupting it to their own standards of fear and intimidation! If you think this is just talk think of the Talibans return and ISIS in the Middle East.
