I adore the threat tracks honestly, the rhythms in the percussion are so erratic and the textures are so good at making you feel overwhelmed by having *so much* going on at once. sos os os so good

This music feels less like you're fighting against regular creatures, and more like you're defending yourself from scavs! Some sounds remind me of waves, almost like they're the sounds made by the dirty water of the wastes.

First time I heard this was when both a vulture, scavenger merchant and leeches were attacking me

Context: before this happened (still new to the game), I accidentally stole one of a scavenger merchant’s explosive spear when I tried to give him the pearl, I dropped it immediately after hoping he’d forgive, he ran away in fear. I followed him to give him a pearl but when I threw it at him, he dropped all his explosive spears, I don’t know if this was a ‘trade’ or if I stunned him, but he ran away with the pearl, I ran after him to go to their civilization and then the scavenger merchant hit me into a pond filled with leeches from a rock, I climbed out of the pond with leeches on me and then THIS MUSIC played and my threat meter at the bottom of the screen went from 2/5 to 5/5 as a VULTURE comes on screen

This is my favorite threat theme out of the ones ive heard in-game

also, i like to think that there's a scug screaming in every threat theme, and I believe the one screaming here is monk as of now in the high pitched tones throughout the song

I heard this song while hunting a vulture then a it came to get the lizard but it flew in and I hit and took its mask and ran away and the escape part made this song better because I had no weapons and shit so it mad running away feel more energetic
