It's not that he's a marketing genius, it's that the world is full of idiots he's taking advantage of who believe they can get any benefit from this, but they're just going to buy his overpriced education programs then drop out once they get a hint of how much work it would actually take. This is how you get rich, you either build so much influence that people blindly believe you will lead them to salvation (Iman Gadzhi) and then suck them dry with a never-ending stream of overpriced educational material, Or you build an actual product with value and market that product. #2 is much more difficult because #2 doesn't take advantage of peoples' FOMO (fear of missing out) and their desire to be successful, which is exactly what he's doing on a very large scale.
