Kim nailed it. My oldest daughter married an Irishman and lives there. Green beer, corned beef & cabbage: American inventions. Half of Ireland goes to the pub. The other half goes to church.

Omg! Laughed so hard because I totally relate. My Dad used to color his hair green and my mom used to do corned beef & cabbage until I discovered (as an adult) we’re not Irish. We are Scottish. Now we celebrate Rabbie Burns Night in January and have haggis. My Dad even learned bag pipes. Go big or go home!

I used to move furniture and small objects throughout my house and say Mr. O’Malley the Leprechaun did it. That’s why my kids set a trap to catch him. Pots and pans would be upstairs with the toaster, a chair would be like that. I also, made miniature footprints of the leprechaun going through my house and the kids would follow it to the pot of gold. And yes, they had green water in the toilet and green milk. I even had a note left from Mr. O’Malley for the kids. Go Irish! 💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💚

I call all my friends the day of and leave a message on their phones pretending to be a leprechaun (the kids love it).
I can do a really good irish accent after hearing it my whole life.
My grandmother was from Ireland and I have a lot of family still in Ireland. It’s the most beautiful country with really sweet people. I can’t wait to go back.
Fun fact: if your parent or grandparent was born and raised in Ireland you are considered a citizen of Ireland.

The last name is HARRIGAN. Yes, the husband's family is from Ireland. He doesn't drink alcohol. My son, Harold the III was born on St Patrick's Day, he doesn't drink either. We try to remember to throw something green on.
But for the last 32 years, we've been celebrating Harold's Birthday. Happy Birthday Harold. 🎂🥳🎉
