Gabby is looking for her lines! She's learned to think ahead and actually go around actively thinking. I'm loving it! Chino is such a show hunter and moves in a beautiful deliberate way with a nice expression. Wow, I'm so impressed by where Gabby is in her riding. Greyfin has taught her quite a bit. And Laura, the lessons are where you learn to do so well and look so good in the show ring. Congratulations Gabby! Great job!

I couldn’t help but noticing how much gabby is leaning forwards this is causing the horse to be on the forehand making it harder for it jump. Perhaps loosen your rein but keep a consistent contact to the bit and pretend that there is super glue on the seat of the saddle sticking u in the saddle whilst bringing your shoulders back! Your doing really well looking to the fence though!

Ah the Children's' Hunter Division... my bread and butter in the peak of my hunter show career... bringing back all my competitive game day memories. Learning to ride is one thing, learning to show is another! Gosh her legs are a mile long and if you let those stirrups down two holes for the flat it'd sure look nice. (obviously you'd need to practice that at home) The 2nd place in the first hunter trip and the 3rd in the flat were a big yay and vindication on my other comment on the other video that the trot break in the medal flat was costly. I have judged open show classes and I will admit that it's heartbreaking as a judge to demote a horse/rider pair that you like and should have placed higher due to an error like a pole down or trot break, but them's the rules!! You can only judge the horse/rider pair in front of you that day at that time. Very nice overall! Lot's of growth over these years and still room for improvement with minor tweaks here and there. And I will happily relive my youth by watching vicariously!
