Frank Troyka – 2016 Hall of Fame

The longest and most comprehensive of Frank Troyka’s professional endeavors is through Music for All. In the summer of 1976, Frank performed with the Sturgis High School Band from Michigan at the very first Summer Nationals held in Whitewater, Wisconsin. Over the next 40 years, Frank has been closely tied to virtually every Music for All educational endeavor – at the Summer Symposium, at the very first National Concert Band Festival, with the Honor Band of America’s Europe concert tour and the first BOA Honor Band in the 2005 Rose Parade. He’s been a judge for Bands of America, and served as Director of Events on the Bands of America staff.
