Sa panahon po ngayon mahirap na makapag invent kasi halos lahat ng nagagawang device is/are already present. The right term is innovation. Saka kung sasabihin mong magiinvent ka ng isang bagay you will start from scratch, eh during thesis kailangan mo ng related literature and studies kea if wala ka mabigay your study will be rejected. Yung term na invention is not really coincide with academe kasi may proper procedure yunh thesis approval. Nakakatawa lang, their invention didnt made that far to improve dahil ung panel sabi pang mechanical engineering na daw kapag nilagyan ng makina. Makina man o wala the important is that it is an invention na makakatulong sa mga farmers. To those na mga ngtatrabaho sa mga universities like me, we know iba na po kac ang bases nang thesis ngayon compare before.... Hindi na po ang CENCEPT ang bases nang thesis ngayon, kondi ang PROBLEM na tina tackle nang thesis, yan po required ni DOST ngayon. For example: Rice dryer yung technology mo, pro ang problem mo is to create an "affordable rice dryer for poor farmers" so focus ka low cost materials at manual design.... Pro kung ang problem mo is "new developed tech at efficient drying" the focus ka sa automation at enhanced design. Kahit pareho pa ang concept nla kng iba ang problem na tinatackle for their thesis based sa abstract nla, then wlang violation. Hindi lng ito na paliwanag nang maayos sa mga student at probably hindi rin cla ng inquire sa teachers nla kng bkt ganun ang nangyari, they just assumed the worst.
