Let it be made known that once Sauron fell and the War of the Ring was over, Galadriel returned with her husband and Thranduil to Dul'guldor. There she flung open the gates and laid low and bare the pits forever cleansing Murkwood of the taint of the fallen Maiar. - Something to note is that she and Sauron are not so much different and are truly a like. They learned much from the Valar and Maiar. They have seen the Two-Trees. They both crave power. Though what set them apart was Galadriel was among the wise and did not fall into despair. She learned to temper her ego and past the final test and that is why she was welcomed back into the West.

Amazing battle both Elrond and Galadriel had rings of power and that power was Water, Elrond uses a water sword you can just about make out the blasts of water and Galadriel used the light of Elendiel witch was water her Water power Drenching herself in water was her overpowering herself to blast Sauron away, basically a Water vs Fire magic battle. But as you can see she's used all of her mana, to blast Sauron away and became very weak and had to go back to lothlorian to heal rest and regain her mana again great scene showing all of there powers including saurons Necromancy and fire magic.

It’s incredible when you consider that Galadriel was one of the Elves, an immortal but very tangible and common form of life in Tolkien’s legendarium, yet she banished Sauron and earned deference from Gandalf (Olorin), who were both Maiar.
