Still the fence as I'm only just starting getting into Orks with the SC! Box. Looks like this will complement that well, as this has two Deff Dreads to go with the one from the SC! making a max sized unit I believe.

I just ordered mine! I'm doing a fun list for regular 40K consisting only of Meks/Big Meks, Kans, Deff Dreads and a Stompa (and one weirdboy but who cares about him?). I'm so excited to build my DreadWAAAGH!

Even went to a store nearby just for chuckles, found an old metal Killa Kan (mind you I've only been in the game for 14 months). Snagged him up immediately as my own piece of Grot History

Instant buy for the ork force to add to my speed freeks, as it will be at least 20% cheaper 3rd party as well. I do not have any of those minis yet and want to build a silly grot force as well.

Separately the cost is $378 AU. If the box set came to AU at $180AU (based on 100 pound currency conversion) it would be a bargain but guess what the Deffdread is 31 pounds (currency conversion makes it $56 AU) but GW AU Store sells them for $83 AU. My guess is the box will sell for $300 AU

I'm still waiting to hear the prices for here in NZ, I'm hoping for it to be around $200 (which is a freaking steal). However it is more likely gunna be like $300+ as the "value" of the Ork box is $425.

Gork and Mork really smiled upon us. Some of the other factions' boxes are really underwhelming. We have a fantastic box in comparison.

I'm also very curious what new rules Kans and Dreads get. Each unit will have different to-hit values against infantry and tanks. I'd guess Kans will be amazing anti-personnel and Deffdreads will murderkill vehicles.

£100 for two Deff Dread, six killa Kanz, Big mek wih SAG and a mek is a bit of a steal.

Personally I would of preferred it if the box had a mob of mega nobz and some mek gunz with a big mek in mega armour. But 8 walkers and two meks is not bad.

I think I'll be suffering from 'dred & kan overload' by the time it comes out - already got half a dozen dredds (+ two more under construction) as well as eight kanz built and painted late last year + three or four mostly built that I've found whilst tidying up (also just bought the two meks from Dims' fire sale). Waiting with bated breath for the game review though ;-)

When I think Apocalypse I think giant walkers, so I think this box should've included a Stompa. I don't need more Citadel dreads, since I convert my own.
