I purchased several colors of this Smart Lace at an event this last weekend and more than Regret doing so. I did a test, allowing it to air-dry overnight and if I balled this up as you have it would be a complete Disaster, it is not soft or pliable and the taste is So Ungodly BITTER... the only place I would ever put this lace is on a styrofoam Cake Dummie to separate actual cake layers. I don't know about the rest of the colors yet, but the Red comes out of the jar in almost a transparent Gel form, becomes a little more opaque when dry.
