Wars, rumors of wars and a big stock market "correction" alone tell me that gold and silver have a bright future IMO. I can see gold hitting $3k easy this year. Guess we'll see..

There are some strong inflationary drivers looming up on the near horizon including some likely tariff driven trade wars, the loss of a lot of our cheap domestic labor pool through mass deportation, and quite possibly another logistically disruptive pandemic (bird flu this time), all of which could drive gold and silver prices up nominally by driving the dollars needed to buy the metals substantially down. It's not really that gold and silver are actually going to go up so much as simply hold steady while the dollar and the economy burn down around us with the fires of inflation.

The Fed has been in QT and continues to be in QT. They are taking currency out of circulation, but it will take a significant effort to get to a pre-COVID position. According to economist Steve Hanke, tariffs do not cause inflation and will likely promote deflation.
