Philippians 3 | Boasting in Jesus Alone | Bible Study

This Bible study devotional covers Philippians chapter 3. In this passage, Paul confronts the false teaching that religious obligations are the means to salvation. He says that relationship with God doesn’t come through our own effort to keep a set of laws, but through trusting in Jesus alone.

As always, we are committed to showing you how to see the good news of the Gospel in every passage of Scripture. In Philippians 3, we see that being right with God isn’t found in what we have to offer, but in who Jesus is and what he offered. If we want a relationship with God, we must come to Jesus alone. We must leave all other identities and traditions behind, and trust his sacrificial death is a free gift that brings us into a relationship with God.
