Follow along as I try some of my first sim drifting on Assetto Corsa using my new Fanatec CSW gear (Wheel, Ebrake, 7-speed H-pattern shifter, Gas/Brake/Clutch Pedals) and my $40 DIY racing cockpit.

Drift Playground is. a very popular track that's a tight, narrow touge style drift layout which I've seen in a lot of videos and couldn't wait to take my own shot at. I'll be driving the Tando Buddies 180SX with completely stock settings. While I've been drifting real cars for over 15 years, I'm a total beginner at sim drifting and without VR or a rig that simulates G-forces it's a little challenging to adjust, but we still manage to shred :)

My next sim drifting video will feature better sim rig camera angles so you can see my shifter, ebrake, and pedal work in addition to the steering! Let me know what car and track you want me to try next!

I would love to see some low power drifting like I do; BMW e36 1.6/1.8 or lada 2107 1.5l :D. When I was learning how to drift on sim, I used low power cars, because you can learn how to weight shift a lot faster.

Love how you added the telemetry as well man! Makes it super easy to see some technique utilized in sim and in real time from the cam!

If possible, would love to see a pedal cam, but that's just being nitpicky. Other than That, another great video man!

it’s awesome to see this guy grow so much. he’s taught me a lot about drifting just about everything ik currently which is just the basics. currently building a similar wooden cockpit that you have ben and it’s just crazy to watch you start off in asset to with how the shader patch and to just think in my head of what i would do if i was driving your car virtually rn lol. keep up the work man. i plan on drifting with you again on a friday night soon

Cool thing on this track also is that you can really drag your tail on that concrete Kermit wall. Walls/barriers on a lot of other tracks are really sticky and will grab and spin you with even the lightest touch.

7:24 I love this section. I love just full sending it down that little dip and never lifting the throttle and then just flicking it into the hairpin. Youll go stupid fast yes, but its totally worth trying out.
