Hollywell is such a beautiful national treasure...spent many wonderful moments there with family and friends. What a shame of the authorities let this issue go unresolved! We should do better by our country for crying out loud 😢

I remember growing up as a scout in Portmore...every summer, my group did an overnight hike from Gordon Town to Hollywell. I looked forward to it every year. The fact that Hollywell in now frequently used as a campsite by Scouts Jamaica since the Kintyre Camp is no more, I trust the government and all stakeholders will come together to stop the erosion and make the journey to Hollywell once again possible.

I remember a few years ago reading an article on the road from Holywell to Section was broken away but a farmer allowed part of his property for a new bypass road to be built. So its also possible this area can be fixed

CALL FOR CHINA HARBOUR ENGINEERING and have them use their superior engineering genius to build a retaining wall or some anti-erosion fortification barrier at the hillside along that heavily trafficked road corridor. What kind of "we will continue to monitor" rubbish response is this from the NWA?!

I really hope they fix the road. However, there are three alternative routes to Hollywell, but two are much longer and one is only accessible by trail bike or good 4WD vehicles.

Steven shaw is a flicking dunce and lack creativity. This can be resolved easily . Trelawny his home town stettin has a broken Away road which can be fixed with a mere 500.000 yet UT stays unfixed for what reason . Tired of all these hot air silly answers.
