You know I think we should be sellers. I know it’s early and I am sure they can make the playoffs. But we seem to every year get worse going into the playoffs. We need to get faster and younger players to replace players like Sevy and bader. It seems they will stick with Donaldson who seems to be playing well but still it’s at this point dead weight. Dj is just too old and is a warrior but just his age and injuries have caught up. They need to also have productive catchers and Austin wells although not a great defensive player can hit. Trevino just is a good defensive catcher but just can’t hit. I hate being sellers but we just can’t get far with this team. All the other players including Stanton should be traded for if possible as mentioned on this video. Just a sacrifice of one to two years for better results later on.

I don’t think they need to sell can still win once the injured players come back maybe trade for a reliever

I’d reconstruct. Sell off some pieces an maybe bring in some as well. Cashman’s delusional moves has really set this team backwards

A good catcher would do wonders. From Dickey, Berra, Munson, to Posada, great Yankee teams have been anchored with great catchers

Playoffs started today they would be in the playoffs and as the Phillies showed the playoffs are a complete crapshoot. If anything they should be buyers at the deadline. Add another bat and a relief pitcher never hurts. This team can’t be this reliant on Judge to get their offense going. Think a lot of fans would be down for trading away Stanton. I think he just roadblocks the line up. He is boom or bust.

If the NYY can make an impactful trade, yes. However, it is likely the NYY will make the playoffs and could make a real run, IF healthy.

In the last 30 games Volpe is hitting .165 with a 202 OBP and a 379 slug. Not major league numbers. IKF would have been run out of town if he had those numbers last year.

They are full of mediocre players, not consistent pitchers and prospects burned out or stopped or in their development, the continuous changes in lineup and by positions suck, as well as using 4-5 pitchers per game, the first out should be Boone, followed by Cashman. Why do they go Matingly away, why not hiring Jeter, is the owner afraid of strong personalities?, not precisely like the Old Man! Loved the Yankees from the late 59s, good pro players, managers with balls …..managing, not following math….they are killing the franchise

Next years starting line up should be wells Rizzo Torres volpe peraza judge bader jones Stanton or chaparro if we can trade Stanton. Cabrera Allen bauers trevvy on bench rotation cole rodon Nestor german Beeter . And end of July call up martian

I wouldn’t mind selling at the deadline, but probably the main pieces that would go would be Severino and Torres. Last year’s debacle at the deadline left us with really no top pitching prospects and probably rebuilding the farm is the best idea. I’d say build up the farm and go for it next years deadline.
