I highly recommend Story Greenlight! Jeff breaks down story telling in a way that I can clearly understand and use to improve my videos.

I found this video because I want to learn how to write stories. I focused so much on what you were saying and showing and later realized you were demonstrating what you were just talking about. This is great. I have to see this again so I can really get what you were saying. I like you way of teaching.

This was a really good, quick video explaining the bare-bones basics of story-telling. I knew all of this, but hearing it broken down into a really high-level explanation just helped cement it all for me.

I watched this after seeing Roberto’s post. I remember watching your videos a couple years ago and thought you had stepped away from YT. I’ve been focusing on better storytelling for the videos I create for kids. So I really need this! 😊

Interesting. My main reason to make videos has always been to try and most accurately preserve moments and memories because change is a part of life. The change is always internal and personal. Sharing my personal change as a story is a new perspective

beautifully crafted little stories!! loved that, it demonstrated that a story can be very simple, bordering trivial and seemingly "insignificant" and yet really compelling.

I decided to rewatch this video because of Roberto Blake's recent shout-out to you and your channel. I'm glad I did.

Is there a way to stop getting ideas? I have been keeping notes on full novel ideas I have been collecting over this year, i just finished writing my 2nd novel and started my 3rd, in the same time i have 30 well thought out ideas that could most likely support an entire novel each by them self.

How do you write sitcoms where there can’t be change because the status quo of the characters has to remain the same and reset for the beginning of the next episode?

So does this method work for how-to/automotive channels? I feel like I’d have a hard time figuring out what internal change or transformation is happening when I’m just showing someone how to troubleshoot or repair something on their vehicle...
