Sorry to burst everyone's bubble but that fish was dead when he pulled it out of the water. Take a closer look, the fish is on it's side and no sign of life.

That’s my old stomping grounds 💯🇵🇷 I use to fish there back in the days Only difference from then and now is back then there some body’s in that lagoon 🤔 but now u got all the yuppie’s are buying up all the Properties and just making the neighborhood look great and the park for better fishing 🇵🇷💯

I wonder if these type of fish, alligator etc. exist in the other lagoons in chicago parks. You only hear about this type of stuff at Humboldt Park . I remember as kids we got to close the lagoon by the filed house and came our covered in disgusting leeches. But I believe they got rid of those.
