Sony, you forgot to mention that 1 year later these replacement controller modules are out of stock everywhere… and I mean EVEREEEWARRRE.

This is why they didn't use hall effect sticks, btw. Hall effect sticks wouldn't need to be swapped out; this is literally planned obsolescence being marketed as a feature.

Joystick module has been out of stock with Canadian retailers for over a month... Why buy a $250 controller with the promise of easy repairs when the parts are never available?

This should be the new standard for consoles. Joystick drift is a notorious issue and always has been.

It’d be nice if you had them in stock in the U.S. they’re sold out of everywhere! Why have this controller on the market when its main selling point isn’t available?

The joystick modules are never in stock. So paying $260 for a Dualsense Edge was probably not a smart move on my part.

Is the module discontinued? It is sold out everywhere.

Always ready! 2 times a year for a small period of time where you should buy at least 2 to get free shipping and before being bought out by scalpers! Love it!

You missed out the important first step: Acquire a replacement that's in stock

Can someone from Sony please give a comment on the reason why the joystick modules have been out of stock for almost 4 months?! The consumers of this product (i.e. myself and many others) have accepted your improper design of the controller joysticks by SUBMITTING ourselves to the feature of THIS $200 controller that allows us to replace your already faulty joysticks. And even then, we knew we’d rather spend $20 for a joystick over $60-$70 for a brand new controller. The least you could do is put a comment out on the reason for the delay on the modules for this controller. Or on whether or not you guys plan to restock them in general. We bought this device expecting you to provide, and now we’re left in the dark thinking we might’ve been scammed by this massive company. Please shed some light on this issue!

A pro controller with ability to swap out its joy sticks, knowing full well that they still use a potentiometer instead of a hall effect system instead. The monetization of not just the controller, but individual parts they know will fail.

Actual scam selling this controller when you don't make stick modules.

I hear these are very hard to find. Not in stock and it's been that way for quite a while?

Sony- Ok, ok, we hear your complaints. We know you want the old quality of the Ps2 days where controllers lasted forever. But. BUT. What if we kept the planned obsolescence, but make it so you dont have to buy an ENTIRE new controller, you can pay 20 bucks and do the repair yourself, we'll even include a latch. That'll be 200 dollars.

How can we rplace them if they are sold out for almost 1 year?? Unbelievable...

honestly PlayStation if you don't provide these stick modules as an actual replacement product soon, I will never give parent company SONY another dime of my dollars. EVER!
