That's a song that speaks to the depth of Greek history, the suffering, the strong bonds and the rich emotional world Greeks carry due to their history - in this case with a focus on immigration and the loss of the loved ones. There can be a literal meaning to it too, about the physical loss of a child. I've never felt like this for a Eurovision song before, and rarely feel this way with modern Greek songs. As a Greek myself, it makes me proud. I wish Klavdia best of luck. I am happy with the song regardless of how it goes, I just hope it's the chosen one.

Asteromata (starry eyed) is a song based on a greek ethnic sad rythm enhanced by an electronic built. Inspired by the genocide and uprooting of Greeks in Pontus Turkey on 1922. A tragic experience Klavdia's grandparents had too when escaped from their birthplace in Turkey to Soviet Union to save their lives. Go Klavdia. Go Greece!!!

Sad Fact: It has to do with the extinction and genocide and their remembrance of Greek Christians from their Motherland, Asia Minor, modern day Turkey, where they lived for more than 3.000 years. Asia Minor is the Mother, while Greek people, from babies to elderly whipped out of the face of the earth are its Sons and Daughters lost! It talks about the Greek refugees that were forced to leave their homes in 1922 with the Smyrna Catastrophe. It also talks about the same situation in Greek Pontus. The story behind the song is that a mother is crying and mourns about her dead-lost daughter...
