Thank you for watching! There is one correction:

At low-mid game, you can use DEF% for your 4 cost echo (in the video i said use ATK%) but you should slowly work your way up and try to get Crit rate (unless you have a crit rate weapon with a decent amount of crit rate substats, go for crit dmg). Thanks to @TheAwesomesst for pointing this out!

Finally an indepth Taoqi guide, the character who probably needed it most. I honestly think the people who rate her low for being clunky 1) are spoiled by Verina and Sanhua (got 3 copies of them to fill 3 teams?) and 2) never bothered to learn her kit properly.

Also my tip is be flexible with your team rotation. If your main dps has full concerto, swap to Taoqi (not Verina), use her cooldowns, then to Verina before concerto is full (Verina's starts with BA3 instead of her Intro which is honestly better unless you liberation cancel before you get stuck in the air). Do Verina's full rotation, then go back to Taoqi to finish her concerto and then to your main dps. Although not recommended for Changli team because her best rotation (half the time of rotations you see in theorycraft guides) requires funneling 2 concertos into her.

i have seen lot of guides on her, but no one explained like you did. using her parry right after basic attack in between or using her libration after parry, they never crossed my mind and no one mentioned it! you did a great job dude!

Don't expected a Taoqi guide out of nowhere but it's a pleasing surprise, i started to put her in all my new teams after finishing my electro team who was really trengind at the start, i'm really happy to see that instead of being more and more bad she turn to be really decent with every new character released i'm really because i really wanted to play her since beta.

I followed an advice to play her with the turtle bell since it scale def and increase damage, i see a lot of people using the bird and don't really realise why.

And thanks for this great guide i hope we will see more content your guides are really good.

As an early Taoqi Main/Enjoyer, I would say that this is a great guide. Support is probably the best way to use her but I play her as a main on-field Unit, I wouldn't say I would recommend it but it is fun for me. (Verdant Summit w/ around 3k DEF and 40/250 CR/CD. 4-3-1-1 Echoes, 2pc Moonlit, 2pc Eclipse). Also something to add since I don't think you mentioned it, It is advisable to use her resonance skill just before you ult if it is available or at least while she has rocksteady shield charges around her as if you have the skill upgrade just above her forte circuit she gets a 15% (Base)DEF increase, since both her ults and timed counters scale of defense these can be used to increase her damage a little bit if you are fielding for a good amount of time. For Timed counters to take advantage of this, you can hold doing a strategic parry until you can recast her resonance skill. You might waste a stack of her forte circuit this way unless you do it when you only have 2 or fewer charges. If you have her at s4, you can get a total of 65% (Base)Def increase for a short duration(5 seconds for the 50% def s4 buff) right after a strategic counter if you still have a rocksteady shield stack what this does is it lets you gain more shield from Timed counters and when you swap, the next team member can still use the remaining charges for the 15% damage reduction. I won't say this is optimal but it is something you can do. Also, I like opening a fight with Taoqi's Resonance skill then immediately swapping to a different character to build concerto energy, hopefully I can intro with Taoqi before the rocksteady shields expires to benefit from the DEF increase I mentioned earlier.

I have been using Taoqi since day one, I pair her with Danjin since she is losing and regaining life on her own, I think a character who can protect her is more valuable than one who heals. Additionally, Danjin's Auotro ability increases the destruction damage of the next resonator, buffing Taoqi to serve as a Nuker. Furthermore Taoqi's outro ability increases the damage of Danjin's resonance ability which is not bad at all.

Still, thank you very much for the guide, Taoqi is one of my favorite WW characters and can be somewhat complex to understand, plus people underestimate her a lot. You have definitely earned my like and my subscription, keep the good work.

Axis' heavy normal attacks will break through the guard. They break through Jianxin's forte charge as well, even if her damage reduction is at 100%. It's one of the few enemies that you unfortunately just have to evade.
