My father was a doctor, and he carried a real old time doctor bag. He actually made house calls when I was a kid. He kept the bag in the trunk of his car and was never without it. It had all his doctor stuff in it. The bag was leather and had his initials on it. My mother gave it to him when he graduated from medical school. He often got calls in the middle of night, or when we were eating dinner or on a Saturday or Sunday and would go out to see a patient. Different times, different doctor bags.

Hey Dr. Cellini:

Where is your first aid kit? You never know when you will save a life in your off time. When I was a child I helped my Mom save 2 car accident victims... motorcycle and kid on a bike. The paramedics stated that my Mom is the only reason they lived... She got a blanket and helped the kid going into shock after 911 was called. There was nothing but a lake of blood in the middle of the road with the motorcycle victim, but he lived. The paramedics upon arrival thought that for sure he was a DOA.

So much for that unconditional "love thy neighbor love" that my Mom and I delivered, but I was so glad we were there for them. Miracles do happen and 2 happened that day. The kid on the bike was maybe 12.

Do you wear a dosimeter? I was expecting that to be in your bag. Should all IRs and techs wear safety and/or lead glasses or just contact wearers? I've never seen imaging techs wear protective eyewear.

LOL I might get my GoPro gear, cameras, one small suitcase organizer, and my tablets in there only. I never pack light. I have too much GoPro gear to take

Hey Dr C can you recommend a cheap but good pulse oximeter I am starting to work out and my wrists are small so Fitbits don't really work for me as they look bulky so I think a finger pulse ox would be the best idea to see my heart rate while working out as I am a medical nerd and curious where my heart rate does.
