I flew to Japan to BUY and cook steaks!

I went to Japan to find the BEST wagyu steak there! Staying in Shibuya Tokyo I went around town to find wagyu steaks then got back to the hotel and had a feast! It was epic.

I always love to see videos of you in japan I was born and raised in Japan and you can places that will have cheaper wagyu like you go to some 焼肉 "Yakiniku" or "Japanese BBQ" 食べ放題 "Tabehōdai" "all you can eat" you can find some rather cheap wagyu like I have one near me in Sendai where I can get 3.3 kg (6.5lbs) of wagyu (this is A5 9 or 10) for all of me and my friends (there is 8 of us) for only about 29, 000¥ (about $180 usd) this also incuded 2 rounds of beer( 2 pints) for everyone. (Sorry if any english is bad) i loved this video and always love to see you enjoying Japan, Thank you so much for enjoying Japan and love our food and culture we have to offer.

Pro tip while you're here. Use Google translate for searching things on Google maps.
So translating "Butcher" to "肉屋". Then searching that in Google maps, you'll get a whole lot more results that you actually want.

This video makes me smile! One time I stumbled upon Guga randomly, very unexpectedly, on the very same day I had my first A5 wagyu in my life. I don't know what fate was doing but I felt double blessed. It's so crazy it sounds almost made up. And such a wholesome guy!

My wife and I celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary last Friday with genuine Japanese A5 wagyu and I accidentally overcooked it! I was so sad at first, but when I ate it, oh my god it was good! The thing is, our wagyu rib eye was much thinner than those you usually cook, but a bit thicker than those at 6:10.

I still can’t get into wagyu, I live in Japan and am all about steak, but for me, I really want that beefy flavor, the wagyu tastes good, but I’m a texture eater, and the way it melts isn’t appealing to me. It’s still worth a try everyone, I’m not saying it’s not, but buy a small piece first, it’s a very intense experience.
