Not gonna lie, when you said you were doing the lyric video, I was like, NO! Aurora is best experienced both audibly and visually, especially her live performances. And her stuff is rarely blocked, so that's not really an issue. So I was glad that you found your way to the live video.

Aurora is now 26. She started writing music at 6 and lyrics at 9 (in a non-native language!). She's one of the most grounded, down to earth people you'll ever see, so I don't think you have to worry about her imploding. She's just not wired that way. She doesn't care about success, and in fact, has said that she doesn't want to get famous in America, because when you get that big, you kind of lose some of your anonymity and privacy. She's all about the art and connecting with her fans.

Aurora Aksnes, 26 years young. The concept of this video from NRK P3 is that an artist (Aurora) is given 1 hour to rehearse the song then play it live. You can see she has the words written in her book on top of the keyboards. She is so multi talented as a singer songwriter, record producer, dancer, choreographer and all round good person. It was a challenge at the Norwegian radio station NRK P3 on the show “Christine Live”

Aurora didn’t know she was going to sing this song until she arrived the radio station, and she had one hour to rehearse before singing it live 👍😍

“I'm not very good with new music as you probably all know. I also went through their list of songs and saw the name Imagine Dragons. I hadn't heard of them before and thought it was such a cool name - DRAGONS ARE SO COOL!” AURORA

She was 20 years in this performance, and now she’s 26. She’s born on the 15 of June 1996👍

Great reaction! Her covers are absolutely great, but here's the thing. No matter how great they are they are nowhere close to her own songs and arrangements. And as we all know - If you have heard Aurora perform her songs one time, you have heard her perform it ONE time. She never arranges or sings her songs the same way twice. Cool you picked live version as her expression adds always to the performance. it is cover in P3 = it was made within a 1 hour and as far i know she got some songs to make cover and pick this one only because she like Dragons (she also like to read fantasy books which is cool for me as I also like fantasy/SF and even read some books recommended by her :) ). Anyway she usually change the song completely and put her stamp on a covers. Great cover. Also you really hear and feel lyrics in her version. Thx for cool reaction :)

These are two completely different songs. Alright, the words and notes are the same. As to which I would put on repeat it would be Aurora every time. The simplicity, the mood, the clarity of the singing is just sublime and it's Aurora!
