Pearl Harbor is so emotional and my husband (retired Navy) & I were really glad we got to pay our respects. My husband was on a destroyer in Vietnam and those quarters were so tight! Matthew did a great job narrating!

Toured the USS Arizona in 2010 and was/am still fascinated that about 9 quarts of oil continues to leak from the ship every day! "The tears of the Arizona." It was a very moving tour...

When we were there in 2011, a elderly veteran was on the bus going to the Arizona Memorial with us. He was on the USS Vestal, they were on the outside of two other ships docked adjacent to the Arizona. On that morning they had just cast off, heading to get fresh ammunition from another area in Pearl Harbor. They had only made it a few hundred yards away, when the concussion blast hit them from the Arizona. He lost a lot of friends that day.

my Father was in the marine corp during WW2, he served in the South Pacific. God Bless the men and women who serve and protect us all. this was a very moving video for me, I have an Uncle who was on the Arizona when it was attacked so this is very personal for me. thank you for sharing

Thank you for sharing. If you are ever in the Seattle area, take the ferry over to Bremerton and tour the USS Turner Joy. Amazing piece of history too.

I was there in 1987 n it was very emotional for me at Pearl Harbor. One gentleman in our group explained to us about his experience when the attack happened on the USS Arizona at that time he was stationed there. We spent a couple of days at Pearl Harbor n I truly would love to go back. Enjoyed what you showed us.

I remember feeling so sad when I went to Pearl Harbor. when I went there was a large group of Japanese visitors. They were extremely respectful. As was everyone who was there. I also remember hearing that Elvis Presley donated to pay for the memorial.
