It's amazing how nonchalantly he can talk while drawing that fast

Years ago I knew this guy who made phenomenal Caravaggio copies. At the time I was only able to do art an hour or two a week and my watercolors were pretty embarrassing. He mocked my stuff (understandably so) but I was always happy expressing my imagination, even if the results were ugly. He on the other hand, seemed like a very unhappy artist...

Scientifically speaking burnout is the result of high effort or perceived high effort and no reward.

This is the result of expectations. Remove expectations and you have no "effort" or "reward" to begin with. This also removes perfectionism and procrastination.

However theres skills and things to understand in order to achieve this. What i said was simply the end goal.

learning from coping is less related to time and more dependent on observing the characteristics of the art :)

As an artist, I agree. Draw your own stuff everyday. Pick something you like to draw and just do it. You’ll sharpen your skills over time.

Love how ppl ask dumb questions. Makes those who create original art an easy journey to climb to the top.

Too many rules and particulars. Art is about feeling. If it feels right, do it. Stop asking yourself questions.
