Best Pho in Orange County?

Today I visited arguably the best Pho restaurants in Orange County Pho 79 in Garden Grove. Pho 79 has been awarded the prestigious James Beard Award. This award is given for contributions to the country’s dining landscape. Pho 79 is one of the first pho specialists in Orange County when it opened in 1982. There is almost always a line but that is a good sign for a restaurant, but you get seated fast.

Pho is a soup dish that is served up in a flavorful broth seasoned with a mixture of onions and herbs with mint leaves, bean sprouts, peppers, and lime on the side. Bowls were filled with generous portions of meat and noodles, making the pho a good value. Today I tried a bowl of raw beef Pho and a side order of egg rolls. Here is a pro tip try the crispy fried chicken with garlic butter sauce. It was amazing. This is the best Pho I have ever had. The broth is what makes a good Pho dish special and the broth here at Pho 79 is on a completely different level.
