The Prada jewelry is beautiful. But like you, we have a preferred jeweler for fine jewelry. I have a diamond necklace that I got on my 40th birthday, and 24 years later, it hasn't left. I'll add other necklaces, but this never comes off.

I totally feel the same way about dining out. Good service is definitely a craft that is unfortunately lacking these days. I worked in fine dining when I was in college & knowing the business, can't stand lazy or rude servers.

We went to this nice restaurant in Eugene called Rye, we had been there before and enjoyed their food. I ordered a salad to start and I was digging in and saw movement… a worm 🪱 yup 👍 a worm in my salad. They were “well, at least you know we’re organic!” And then they said “since you didn’t really eat the salad we’ll not charge you.” … 😳 gee thanks.

I attended the same event in NYC last Fall. I had no idea I had a private appointment. I loved a few pieces but price per ounce, the gold was very expensive. I like the idea of the traceable gold though. I did drink the champagne 😉 and purchased the black loafers with rubber sole. They are so good
