Triangular Numbers | Visual Math | Sum of Natural Numbers

Ted is a woodcutter and he ahs been asked to stack the wood logs. Now all these logs are of the same size. Ted starts by laying down 20 logs, side by side. Can you find out the total number of the wood logs, in this stack?

The solution to this math problem is visually explained in this video. We learn that objects in a stack are nothing but, Triangular or Triangle number. The nth triangular number is the number of dots in the triangular arrangement with n dots on a side, and is equal to the sum of the n natural numbers from 1 to n.
