I know we still have Paris fashion ahead but I'm just going to call it . This is the collection of the season ' the colors ' the prints ' the play with textures and the relaxed yet structered silhouettes was epic fresh and new but totally wearable . What a stellar collection BRAVO 🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹

Wow, just amazing. There’s something about the Bottega shows since Matthieu.. a mix of things, it just feels so much cooler than any fashion show. The music is exceptional. The clothes are more than fashion, there is no excess, no neediness, no provocativeness. It’s just pure quality all around, great clothes with great tailoring, great colours, great casting as well. So varied and well rounded and all without seeming desperate to make a statement or anything. I love the drum beat, and the boccioni statue on the runway.. movement!

What a master of proportion. In my opinion, more than color, silhouette, textile, embellishment, accessory....the main thing that sets these designs apart from so many others (luxury included), is the absolutely precise proportion. Its what takes something relatively mundane like a trench and a pair of trousers and turns it into something eye catching. Bottega under Tomas was always one of my favorite shows. He made wearable luxury that I found easy to understand. I still go back into the archives to live the Grace Kelly fantasy he was selling. Matthieu, though, is exactly what the house needed at this juncture. He's challenging us in a covert way. He's not smacking us in the face with innovation, he's sneaking it in with the vegetables. He really gives us things I've never seen....but what I wouldn't really think twice about wearing. I'm drinking the Koolaid, and it tastes rather refreshing. The mark of a true pioneer.

CLEARLY, a burst of creativity here…balanced by the use of neutral colors, black, brown. Good taste was clearly shown here, as was a sense of fearlessness in RTW designing. Some pieces look sumptuously couture-ish, like the skirt at 4:42, the men’s sweater at 5:18, and Anok Yai’s dress after that. I live in LA and it’s been cold and rainy today, so I definitely want those long onesie sweater thingy for men!
