Good bass/muffled quality, it's more like how your ears actually hear it than other recordings- the occasional soft rattle of buttons, the random flumping of heavier items...
the rhythm is somewhere delightfully between "heartbeat" and "train ride".

Oh my gosh. I can’t believe the perfect sound. 40+ years ago I’d put damp towels in the dryer and turn it on to help me get to sleep. My bedroom was in the basement under the kitchen. I’d wrap my foot around the pipe from the kitchen sink because it was warm and read “Cherry Ames, Nurse” books until the dryer put me to sleep.

Me and my brother used to get the quilt off the bed and take it to snuggle up in front of the tumble dryer on a night time. Used to be dark outside and had all the lights off and when it was winter it was just magic. Miss them times

As a child I used to lie in front of the tumble dryer on a sheepskin, just where the hot air would blow out from the vents. The rumble vibrated through the floor and it was all incredibly comforting. I love that to this day. And maybe that's why I seem to be able to sleep regardless of noise, which I'm glad about! Thanks for this lovely video.
