We got this for our son for his 7th birthday. He loves it. I think its pretty cool too and he can actually get it to do tricks. The biggest downfall for us is the super short batterie life, but I guess thats to be expected given the size of what it is. I almost think though that keeps my kid interested and wanting to come back for more.

Some tips that have helped us:

1 - as this video states, you have to have an open area of AT LEAST 7’, more if you got it. If it gets to hovering over something (couch, table, counter, etc. it will fly away from that which is usually up to the ceiling.

2 - run the batterie completely dead then allow to fully charge. In our experience it just performs better if you do this.

3 - let it hover before rushing into tricks! This is the hardest part for my kid!

I can’t speak for anyone else but this is a great gadget for what we paid for it.

I got this product yesterday it’s pretty fun but at the start it’s pretty hard to control it but after 10 mins I got it under control. The downsides I have is that it sometimes just schuts itself off or goes just strait up or down for no reason. Besides that it’s an pretty good product

So...I’ve found that this thing is a lot like when you’re a kid with your first yo yo. The thing doesn’t do anything you want it to, at first. At all. I’ve played with it a while yesterday and thought mine was defective. But it seems to be 2 things that need the most practice. Distance. Your hands and your body. The right distance to keep the device. And How quickly you move. The device seems to register slow decisive movements. So if you start to panic that you’ve lost control, the thing zooms all over because your movements are too quick and panicked for to respond. . It took me a day to sort of train the thing (or maybe myself) so that it would hover in front of me calmly. Without zooming into walls or up to the ceiling. I think it will disappoint if it’s expected to go smoothly right away. It seems that just like yo yo, it’s capable but only after a lot of practice by the user. The biggest complaint I have is not at least given a rapid charger so that it doesn’t take an hour to play again.

Just saying it is the best to me because I get to control it without a controller and it has cool tricks but it take long to change and dies so fast but everything is so good I have control it I am getting to be a pro at it but the tricks works to me so cool!

Got it and it works flawlessly and smoothly. The battery life doesn't seem short at all and is really great. Worth every penny in my opinion :D

Hey there, just got one of these at Target. Decided to play with it and launched it. It then decided to fly all around my room with no rhyme or reason, flashing blue when I tried to do anything to it. Help!
Edit: Nevermind, got it calibrated and having fun :)
