We voted for Biden in 2020 and will do so again in 2024 after voting straight Republican in every election since Ronald Reagan. At this point we must put saving our Democracy and our country ahead of partisan politics. On August 11, 2020 Trump says if re-elected he will terminate Social Security. A Social Security actuary said if Trump stop collecting the payroll tax Social Security would end within 3 years. In 2024 Trump tell Time magazine if re-elected he will make permanent the stoppage of the payroll tax. The payroll tax is the FICA tax that funds Social Security and Medicare. If Trump’s plan goes into affect I don’t know how long Medicare would last.
