I guess I got lucky, received my TE-03 and everything came out of the box correctly! I love this figure, very well done in my opinion.

Great Review! I think this is a great figure for those who are into the "Plus" aesthetic. My two deltas are that the head doesn't securely tab. The MMC Sphinx had slight head issues as well but the red semi circle section at least had the small tab to stop it from moving. Then I feel the Alt mode seems a bit squished, I always thought the F1 cars were a little more elongated. All a matter of taste it is great that the fandom has created great options for unique collections!

Just a psa my TE mirage arrived with both foot panels green and TE is not giving out replacements. Your looks fine though. Tfsource was good enough to shoot me a 5$ in store discount. Lucky both mine are green looks odd but matches. Folks check your version make sure you didnt get scewed.

Great review man! Just one thing that I think you missed (I may be wrong but I couldn't spot it!) when changing into car mode, the wheels shift forward to fill out the back a bit better, they're on a small armature. Only a small detail but really makes it look more "finished" at the back 👍

I love the thing! I had to fix both hips and lubricate the plastic on the slider pins for the spoilers because it was crazy tight. After that, it has been awesome!

Thanks for the review, and showing the fix for hips. I enjoyed seeing what an articulate bot he is, along with good materials. Hopefully those joint pins stand the test of time - as I've got this guy ordered along with TF Dunerunner, or whatever he's called now :). Thanks again.

Thanks for the great review! I’ve been curious about this effort by TE. I think I’m gonna wait for your comparison video before deciding to purchase. I do want to second the kudos for Nate’s Toys and Collectibles. Outstanding prices, pre- and post-sales service, plus Nate is simply an all around awesome guy in general.

My copy just arrived from Show Z Store, and the hips are correct out of the box.

I cracked the leg at the pin by doing the fix, and so it is floppy like yours. I hope my supplier can get a replacement. Then I will repair it by punching the pin out. Overall I like it for the $70 it cost, but I recommend making sure people get a fixed batch. The fix is not fun and can cause problems. Sadly I think there is an opportunity for the Fanstoys to beat it, but at probably twice the cost!

Good job, I used this video to transform it into vehicle mode. Is it me or did you skip a waist rotation? I had to do it but I didn't see you doing it!

obviously with smaller purchases like stickers, it's neglegable, but with bigger purchases, upwards of $200 plus, it adds up.

Dude.. i preordered from TF source. If mines hip comes like this I’m returning it. Not worth the $$ for such nonsense.
