Buchla 248 as 8 bit oscillator
Показать описание
Using the Buchla 248 as an 8 bit oscillator
- set up an 8 stage sequence with a stop on the last stage, all stages should be set to the shortest time
- set the mod oscillator to high, and connect the output of the mod oscillator to the "Start"input in the MARF sequence
- Connect the output from the MARF sequence to a banana to 3.5 converter
You can then use the Time Multiplier and it's CV input for additional tuning and variation .
Setting stages to "sloped" will alias the wave giving it a more organic sound, while setting stages to "stepped" will produce a more 8 bit digital tone.
Happy patching.
