House Call: The Flu Shot—Helpful or Harmful?

The government says everybody should get the flu shot every year. But does it work? Is it safe? And do we really need it?

Independent scientists have concluded that the flu shot really doesn't work well, although, for certain populations who are prone to getting very sick, it may be worth getting inoculated. Find out which flu shot you should get to not poison yourself in the process.

Thank you for clarifying this. Granted it is anecdotal, but I noticed that most of my coworkers, who get the flu shot, have gotten the flu and I have never gotten it, even though I have been working along side them for 12 years. So intuitively, I knew that flu shot was bogus. It is nice to see that a body of independent scientists backs up my intuition.

i could not remember the last time i got my flu shot. i should be a sick individual every year according to the government's recommendation right? wrong! i don't do it just because the group of sheep around me are. i dig for the truth first.
