Why PLTR needs to invest in a cloud abstraction layer and build a developer community, straight from the mouth of Databricks!

This is probably the only channel that actually understands what Palantir is as a company and exactly what they do. We need to get you on Dave Lee’s channel and you need to do a video with Tom Nash. I currently own over 6000 shares of PLTR and your video makes me want to sell a kidney to add more to my pltr position

Thanks for another informative video to help me better understand the technology proposition. I’ve read books on investing from Warren Buffet, Peter Lynch and Bill Ackman and Palantir seems to fit their strategy. All three warn about getting caught in the the quarter to quarter fluctuations of a companies stock price and I believe you did too, instead focus on 3-5-10 years and even 20 years. They also said other very important things to focus on; does the company have a moat; is there opportunities to grow; does the company carry low debt, which Palantir seems to check those boxes. But, they also said you must understand what the company sells, which you’ve been a huge asset for layman’s like me. Thanks again

Huge points made about developer community, and it seems to be compatible with Palantir philosophy.

PLTR seems to be keenly in tune with what they and their devs need to succeed. If this is such a no brainer, why haven't they done that yet?

Im interested in this idea just think that they might have already thought about this.

Is there a way to become Palantir cloud certified?

Open Source is the only reason that IBM has stayed relevant and RHEL is their current completive advantage over Oracle.

How do you see Palantir interact with Databricks and Snowflake on top of the cloud infra providers ? Would that make sense for a company to have all 3 ?

Will this abstract layer cloud will be the juiciest part of the cloud service? GCP, Azure and AWS will compete for the physical implement part of the cloud service with much lower profit margins?

Wow, now this is a new avenue to consider… very interesting 🧐

Ding Ding Ding Ding! Apollo enabled cloud integration across multiple cloud platforms.

There's a reason linux is king. It created the path way to breakthroughs in elastic scaling, application virtualization etc. No money in the world can buy all the coders time to creat n fix codes. The talent pool is just too small and scattered for companies to hire one by one.

hmm I also want to buy databricks too :P

I don’t have anymore money, or I’d keep buying the company. If it stays below $20 this year, I will add more by the summer.

Hold on a sec... why do they need a development community? They just need people who know how to use the software and implement it into a business, these aren't necessarily developers. The whole point of Software is to "not need a development team" to get a solution like this into a business. I'd get Palantir into my business, just so that I don't need to deal with (fucking) developers, I just next next next though the install wizard, link to to relevant data with integrations that are already baked into the product and I'm off to the races.
