why is your swing line perfectly straight? are you using the keyboard or a mouse?

I downloaded PGA Tour on my XBox series s, and try as I might, I just cannot see how to actually hit the ball. I can draw the club back but nothing happens when the club arrives at the ball. Please can you help me? Thank you. Daniel C.
