The second method can also be done using the nail-remover thing on the back of a hammer instead of pliers. You can get better leverage in my opinion this way.

... or try using the pull plier "Linearzange", a german invention to remove wooden and plastic dowels :-)

Okay, excellent I'll try that. Thanks!

Thanks Dan.
The raw plug I'm trying to get out of a nicely finished plaster wall is absolutely tiny.
It snapped off as I was putting it in, but snapped flush with the wall.
Any further ideas?
Thanks again :-) 👍🏼

Thanks. Trying to prep a wall for painting and there's bloody tons of these bastards in the wall. I swear whoever put them in used adhesive of some kind as they sure as hell aren't coming out as easy as method 1.

Thank you. The last occupant of our house decided it would be smart to glue the bloody things in so we've had to drill them all out

Using the claw of a claw hammer for method 2 is better than a pair of pliers IMO.

What do I do if the screw has sunk in with the rawl plug 😭 I’ve tried drilling it out but it’s jammed in further

Great tips... but what if the plug has a broken screw still [deep] inside it?

Why take it out? Just push in a little job done!

@ 2:12 I’d be at the point of just filling the bastard hole.

Useless video to me, the plug you were removing sat already perfectly loose, mine sit tight in the wall and nothing is getting them even as much as moving a bit.
