Some people say that Belle is nothing more than his possession.  But that is not true.  If that is all she is, why rescue her?  He could have just kept the gauntlet.  Yes, he does take some time before he gives them the gauntlet, but it's not because he doesn't care.  It's because he does.  He chose Belle over power just like he picked Bae when Zelena made him pick which one he wanted more.  Also, the look he gives her is the same look from when she fell off the ladder.  Another time he nearly lost her.  True, he does say something nasty, but you can tell he regrets saying it.  Watch his face near the end.  And it looks like he wanted to say "I love you." or "I care about you.", but didn't.  Why?  Either he thought the three evil ladies were still there or he was scared to.  He had been rejected twice already, once by his wife and once by Cora, and Zelena being clingy didn't help.  So I believe it's an equal balance when it comes to what he loves more.  He loves power and Belle.

Okay, wasn't Ursula a protagonist of sorts? In the Ariel episode she wasn't a villainess, she was the goddess of the sea who didn't want to be messed around with. What's she doing here as a villain? On top of that, what's Cruella doing here from London? It makes no sense. Her only motivation in the original film was to make fur coats out of dalmatians; what's that to do with magic? Also, Rumple has the power to turn all three of them into ashes!
