I have made the N6656 top so many times it’s my go to top. Very flattering.

Wow, these are great! For all ages - younger and up! And top N6658 screams out to me for a mix of the Style Maker materials you wanted someone to sew up mixed stripe and pattern! OMG, I really need to dip into that!!! Thanks for the review!

I loved the first top I’m a little older and with a little hacking it could be a all around top loved the pants also as for the green dress with wood buttons that style was popular in the early eighties I think I just donated that dress .it as so comfortable

I like the simple top with bow in back in both versions. I like the cute pink empire with flutter sleeves with the backless but with the back version because I need to have and cover my bra. Like the gold knit dress with wrap belt. They did do a good job. More I liked than did not like.

I found it interesting how enthusiastic you were over this collection, compared to say McCalls etc. I feel the same way about Kwik Sew recently. I’m not sure if they were new, but I was going to get the spring Vogue collection for my birthday from a friend and I had to say, hey can i get a combo of Vogue and Kwik Sew. They were flabbergasted! What can I say? I really liked these from New Look this Spring as well. There are things that are actually really unique AND cute, not just unique, if you get my meaning. Thanks for the thorough review as usual!

Hi, Lindsey. I got 1 off the dress patterns at Joann after I watched this video. They had everyone of the ones you said you would get. So, you may get lucky if you have a Joann near you.

Loving all the dresses as well. I've been on a shirtdress kick, trying out different ones to see what fit I like. I'm just making mock ups now while being confined. I did get the 6651. Haven't made it yet, but close. I got a stripe blue chambray to use. Can't wait to see your makes, thanks for the time you spent doing this!!! They are always much appreciated

I have always sewed with Vogue and McCall's but.. I have used New Look several times #6644 cargo pants are amazing so I am going to buy the 70's patch pocket pants. Will make them after my true bias lander pants.

I love N6655, but, as usual, New Look never goes to upper sizes. I want this one, but, I need a 22.

I love the song for your intro. I have to ask what it’s called so I can do a ring tone 😂

6662: I like the top but agree it is too boxy. However, in a crepe, it would drape against the body. IMO, pants with a fitted waist and side zip is not easy. It seems jumpsuits are taking over the world. I haven't worn one since I was a kid in the 70s. They remind me of the bionic man/ woman. 6660: The appeal of those striped pants is the fit on that model. They look exceptional on her. Fit is excellent (on her). That pleated skirt is lovely. I would guess there is no side seam pocket on the side with the zip. I have never tried to put a pocket in a seam with a zip. Handkerchief top: model needs FBA. I like that top. It has no bust shaping. A lot of ppl would need to add a dart. The shell top w/ back bow is beautiful to wear under a suit or for evening with a long skirt or nice slacks. Loving that empire top with open back. Gorgeous for evening. 6655: Those front bodice darts are gorgeous! They are describing those darts as "tucks"? Those are not tucks! That will be everybody's Easter dress. The shirt dress is cool. The tie that emerges from the side seams gives a watteau look to the back. Have you seen Polynesian patterns? This styling was common in the early 70s for hostess dresses. That tie topper outfit is wonderful for a wedding. You are so right! Topper fabric must be very drapey or it will look like a box or worse yet a sack. Model looks like MOB. The sleeve cutout dress is gorgeous! Maybe it's the fabric, but that dress has a 30s vibe. Wow, this collection is the best I've seen for at least a couple of years. I like the double elastic waist on the shirtdress; however, it is pulling at CF. It may need an inside hook to provide support at the closure. Fisheye dart knit dress: great fit on model. But no shaping at bustline. Needs FBA for many ppl. Great review. I really enjoyed this collection. I will buy several.
