IN MY HUMBLE OPINION: You Don't Watch Women's Basketball

Based on the dialogue in this Angel Reese and Caitlin Clark situation, it's obvious that none of you watch Women's Basketball.

Thirty years ago l said that women's basketball would be the equal to men when they practiced the same boorish behavior as men. I was joking of course because they weren't very good back then. I have no problem with game trash talk and refs are pretty good at controling games and controlling taunting (not the same as trash talk and you know it). I like the handshake line after the game because it helps amateur players and students distinguish between a game and outside the game.. The assumption to emphasize for STUDENTS is that we leave it all in the game. Trash talk included. If not, there is no such thing as sportsmanship and games will always lead to violence. ?" Any jystification for behavior that leads to violence needs to be condemned. Before you dismiss me as a "white guy", understand l have been involved in basketball altercations on the court with players from all over the world and in many countries and none of them were nice or desirable. Including the ones l started . So let's not go down the rabbit hole of race here (you said you wouldn't and then you did).
