Since i saw dune i got a fascination on these biomimic stuff. Such a cool idea but its mostly used so boringly by having just a futuristic looking helicopter frame. It has soo much potential

the Ornithopter kinda feels like a mix between the Dune Ornithopter and the RAH-66 fuselage

They're for sure testing Javelins with the Atgms on the IFV. The thing locks on to ground targets and attacks from above.

I haven't played this April fools event yet but if that helicopter can fly vertically like a normal heli and horizontally like a plane this is probably a testbed for when they add planes like the V-22 Osprey, although the V-22 production was mostly unarmed apart of the gun in the rear ramp, tests were made with a GAU-19 in the nose and other tests with pylons on the wings armed with agm-114/176/179, AGR-20, Griffin B, GBU-53's, camera/laser designators and hydras, so i guess they could add those armed test variants as a premium or something

fun fact: many source said that helicopter is inspired by dragonflies (while plane inspired from bird) which that mean this is what would happen if our ancestor build helicopter exactly like a dragonflies and not giant rotor

Also the whole idea for April Fools reminds me of an OLD PS1 game, C&C Tiberium, or Battlefield 2142.

Worst thing about the roper is that I can spawn in at CT-T and put one heat shell into it and it dies. Very satisfying
